Made this one....

....yesterday. There was a sketch challenge at a forum and I had these pics laying around for some time now...I decided to use those to make this spread. It's clean and simple yet colorful. xxx Wendy.
I used American Crafts paper and some letterstickers and deepblue rub-ons.

I wish....

....we could have real winters in Holland again...I just love the snow but unfortunately it never seems to last more than a day or two. So whenever the snow has fallen, I immediately go outside with my camera and take as many pictures as I can...This time I took a picture of this cute little boy my mom gave me for our anniversary a few years ago. I don't like statues in my garden, but I melted when I saw this one...Isn't he adorable?
Wish you all well and thanks for stopping by, xxx Wendy.

I promissed....

.......to show you the weddingcard I made for the friends that got married a week ago on friday. I used cardstock which I ran through the BigShot with the cuttlebug Swirl embossing folder, a fiber and some beads.
The happy couple went to Egypt and I didn't have a chance to find out if they liked the card yet.
Have a nice weekend, xxx Wendy.

Another card and a basket with apples....

This week is a real busy one, I know four kids who will be getting their swimmingdiploma's this week. One boy and four girls....as far as I know now....
I made this cute card for a girl (ofcourse...) with a Magnolia stamp and different colors of cardstock. At the bottom a fiber and a chipboard "A".
I bought this cute little basket a few weeks ago at the second hand store and filled it with fake apples. My father in law got a fruitbasket in the hospital and it contained these lovely, fabric flowers. He gave them to me and I put them with the apples in this basket...doesn't it look romantic? I love pics like these...
See you next time, xxx Wendy.

Sugar Nellie card and Magnolia tags

My youngest son got a few cards from a few little girls that are in his class at school. We thought it was so sweet of them, we decided to make them a cute doorhanger...He colored the prints and I finished the job....This morning he handed them out and the girls really liked them....He immediatly got another card, so this afternoon we will make one more, hehe....
My brothers son will finish his swimminglessons next saturday and will receive his B-diploma. For him I made this real awesome pirates card. The stamp is from Sugar Nellie and when you look at their store, you will find a lot of other real cute stamps....Check out their site here . You can only order the Sugar Nellie stamps from abroad....Their service is real great so it is safe to order there.....
Materials used for the Sugar Nellie card: rouge de garance desingpapers, a clock cut out from Imagination project, black letterstickers from provocraft, cottonfiber, and the B is from a box of letters bought at Action....

Magnolia card

I made this Magnolia card for someone who gave me a real cool present and didn't want anything in return. I could persuade her to send her a home made card....so this is what I made for her....

We've been real busy lately. My father in law broke his foot about a month ago, but because he is a diabetic, his wound didn't heal and he got infected with a bacteria that didn't go away...so the doctors had to amputate his foot....He was supposed to go home over a week ago, but the infection came back and now they will probably have to amputate above the knee....which is bad, because it makes recovering so much more difficult....We still hope for the best. Tomorrow he will hear if his knee can be saved, so it is still an uncertain time for him. My husband visits him everyday and the children and I go with him as much as we can...We hope things wil turn for the best real soon...
Sorry for this sad story....hope you still can enjoy the rest of this weekend, xxx Wendy.

Another lo

I gave you a sneak peak of a two color lo a few day ago, the one I entered to a contest. Unfortunately I didn't win (again...) so now I can show you the total lo.

I used red paint, buttons shaped like a heart, red buttons which I doodled with a white Poscapen, flowers, white brads, ribbons and I used embroidery wire for the white doodles below and the x-es on the heart at the top of the lo...The white letters are felt stickers...

vrijdag 7 december 2007

Finally I can show you....

Finally I am able to show you the total lo of the sneak peak I showed you a few days ago...
It was a swap made for Miranda with a picture of her daughter Isabelle. I couldn't wait to get started to scrap this picture, it was such a sweet one....Yesterday I received the swap she made me with a picture that shows me and my little niece on a white bear...I really loved what she did with it...so thanks again Miranda!
Materials I've used: buttons, paper- and velvet flowers, ribbon, staples, little girls earrings which I torned apart and a black fineliner which I used to doodle away...

Boy card

Wilma's son Wout was swimming for his A-diploma and made it, so I made him this little boys card. Wilma said he really liked it, so I can show you now....Wout, again congrats on your diploma....xxx Wendy.

YAAAAHHHOOOOOO.....

I finally received the Magnolia stamp Tingla I won in October. They also put something extra in, don't you just love these stamps?
I'm entering a contest at ScrappenDoeJeZo . The assignment is to scrap with only two colors...I found it hard to get started, but when I did, I was on a roll....I can't show you the total lo yet, so, I will have to leave with a sneak peak. I can tell you the colors I've used, hehehe...red and white.... I will keep you updated as soon as the winner is known...Have a nice day, see you soon...xxx Wendy.

Freestyle

This freestyle spread was made to enter a contest at Scrapdomain...Unfortunately I didn't make it, but they put my spread and a lo at their website....Still have a lot of scrappin' to do, so...have a nice sunday.xxx Wendy.
PS If you want to take a closer look, you can check this spread out here...

Bingo!

Last saturday we had a forummembermeeting at Scrappen Doe Je Zo and ofcourse I bought some wonderful papers. You can see it at the top picture. I also bought about 52 cardstock papers....The designpapers and the can on the bottom picture was a bingo prize Bep gave to me. Katinka made us pass our bingo tickets over a few times to the person next to us and as it happens my ticket had two prizes fallen on it...So Bep felt sorry for me and gave me the prize she has won. Is'nt that sweet!!! To thank her, I made her this cute Magnolia card. She has already received the card, so now it is safe for me to show it here.
Wish you a very nice weekend and till next time...xxx Wendy.

Second hand store and a card

Last week I went to the second hand store in IJsselstein. I usually go there once a week and last time I found this gorgious crochet tablecloth, this cute little basket (which I filled with fake apples I already had) and this glass jar filled with eggs and feathers. It looks really nice in my home, so I was very happy with it.
The card was made for friends of ours who are expecting their first child in a couple of months. I used scraps of paper, some stickers, a fiber and "blingbling". Wish you a nice day and thanks for visiting my blog. xxx Wendy.

How sweet is this!!

This RAK was send to me by Daan. It seems Ingrid had won it, but asked Daan to send it to me...
Thank you so much, both of you! Don't know what I did to deserve it, but I am sure you will tell me!!
Big hugs to both of you...xxx Wendy.

Sorry, forgot to show you this....

I made this card for my niece who will be swimming for her A-diploma next saturday. The forummeeting last saturday got me in the card-scrapping mood. I used a very cute Magnolia stamp and I am very pleased with how this card turned out...Hope Celica will too.....

Creations Forummember day 24-11-2007

These are the projects we made last saturday in Ede at Scrappen Doe Je Zo. The lo at the left was made by all of us, kind of a round robin-thing....I didn't like doing that....
The card on the right bottom was made by BepV, she makes gorgious cards and I wanted to take a picture of it...
The rest was created by me....
We had a great day, but I'm not feeling very well for a few days now, so I will show you the pics we took of the meeting later this week...Wish you all the best and thanks for visiting my blog. xxx Wendy.

One card, one gift and some home made embellishments

The "thinking of you" card was made for me by Ingrid. She wanted to wish us well...my father in law his foot had to be amputated, so....we could use a little support. Thanks very much girl, I really appreciate this and I am very thankfull for you thinking of us....(If you want to know what kind of materials Ingrid used, check her blog).

The blue card was made by me for Annika, she is a member of the designteam at Scrappen Doe Je Zo. She has had an accident and broke several bones. It will take her a while to heal, so to wish her well, I will send her this card.
Materials used: blue cardstock, pages of an old English book I turned into flowers, DaisyD's papers, lace, ribbons and a pinheadneedle).

With the same materials I made some flowers for the forummeeting we will have tomorrow from the Scrappen Doe Je Zo website in Ede. We will take a grouppicture and have a sort of roundrobbin making a layout which will be handed over to the person next to you who will work on it for ten minutes and then hand it over to the person sitting next to her. In the end we will have been working on each and every layout for every member there. Think it will be a lot of fun...

I will be very busy this weekend so I don't think I will be able to post anything here before monday....So I wish all of you a very nice weekend and see you next week...xxx Wendy.

Creative kids....

This weekend my father in law, who broke his foot a week and a half ago, was brought back to the hospital because his foot was very smelly and he was still being sick...He is a diabetic so it is important he stays under medical control. When they opened the cast around his wound, it looked and smelled really bad. It turned out he has an infection in his bone and it's not sure yet if he can keep his foot, it may be amputated....He was operated again and will be today too...We still hope his foot can be saved...Dad, we wish you all the best and hope your foot will heal.

My sons made a card for their granddad and I loved them for doing so. My oldest son really hates everything "crafty" so I was really proud of him for still creating this wonderful card for his granddad...

And ofcourse I made him a card too, hehe....

Three cards and Scrapdelight

My brother and sil were married for eleven years yesterday, so I made these three cards for their anniversary. The two "congrats"cards were given to them with MediaMarkt giftcertificates, so they can buy something they like on their own.
This is what I bought at Scrapdelights open house this morning. The papers are from: Arctic Frog, Urban Lily, Basic Grey, Rhonna Farrer, Chatterbox, Crate Paper, Autumn Leaves and K&Company. I also bought Designer Eyelets/Snaps from WeRMemorykeepers: Love, Family and Inspiration. It was really nice to have met Michelle and her design team in person and I had a lot of fun. Hope to see you soon again, have a nice weekend, xxx Wendy.

Adress book and a card...

Yesterday my scrappingfriend Ingrid came to my house for a crop and I made this card and this adressbook, which contains all the adresses I have of different forummembers. Thought it would be easy so I wouldn't ask them over and over again for their adress. I used Basic Grey paper and K&company, different ribbons, fibers, rhinestones, stamps and lace...so now I can start on my minibook, which is lying here for about six months or so for me to finish it...xxx Wendy.

Rip up those jeans

This is a mini book I made from my boys ripping up our youngest ones jeans....When ever they have a hole in their pants, they can rip it up. You can imagine the fun they are having then.
I used stamps, buttons, brads, stickers and some pieces of the jeans that was ripped. The paper I used is from Junkitz , Earth Tone Paperz...
The mini book was shaped like a jeans short...I had a lot of fun making it, wish you fun looking at it...xxx Wendy.
