High Hopes card

This card was made with a High Hopes stamp. I used light yellow cardstock, embossed the green cardstock with cuttlebug Textile embossing folder, the pink paper was embossed with another cuttlebug embossing folder...I put some glitter on the wings...just love this stamp...

Weddingcard

Last sunday we found out we were invited to the wedding of a dear friend of ours (they sended the card to nr. 33 instead of nr. 4) so, being a creative girl, I made them a card. I used cardstock, golden webbing, embossed their initials with the Cuttlebug embossing folder Swirls and feathers. The golden rings are made of a golden elastic and tied them up with ribbons....I'm very curious of what you think of it....xxx Wendy.

Cafe mom

I just joined an american scrapbooking club. You can find it at http://www.cafemom.com/ . I mostly joined because I wanted to meet other scrapbookingmoms and would like to expend my scrapfriends abroad....hopefully I will meet a lot of new friends and we can exchange a lot of inspiration....The group I joined is called Scrappin'it & Lovin'it. Yesterday we went to a hobby- and artfair here in IJsselstein. Much to my surprise KarlaKreatief was there with her scrapbookingsupplies. This was the paper I bought from her...The picture doesn't show it very well, but the paper on the picture below has bling-bling on it...

This week a present from a scrapfriend arrived in my mailbox....I knew something was coming, but never did I expect this much!! Bep from the ScrappenDoeJeZo forum knew how much I loved her Magnolia stamps and offered to make some prints for me at the Sunshine book workshop and she did....but then she e-mailed me for my adress and this is what I found in the mail...Bep, I really love what you send me and I am having so much fun making cards with these prints.....thank you su much,xxxxx Wendy.

Scrap a little sunshine

Hello everybody,
Yesterday I went to Scrappen Doe Je Zo in Ede to attent a workshop called: scrap a little sunshine. The workshop was given by Gerry (you should really check out her site: http://www.scrapalittlesunshine.blogspot.com/ so you can see how important these projects are!) and we had a wonderful time. There were a lot of minibooks made and I will show you what I've made, check out the pictures below. Thanks for watching and I you would like to attent one of these workshops, at Gerry's site you can see where she will be given more workshops you can attend.

For this book I used all kinds of paper of Wall street, the Metropolitan Collection.

Gerry, Dennis and Dorenda, thank you so very much for all the time and effort you all have put into making this day and project a succes!! Hope every child who will be given a book like this, will surely have a little sunshine in their lives again!!

New cards

I finally was able to make some cards. One is for someone who is pregnant after having lost two children. I really hope she will be able to carry this one out and can hold her healthy baby in her arms in a few months. Vanesca, i wish you all the best, you're in my mind!!

The other one is for one of my scrapbuddies who got a new job when i was in Spain. I wasn't able to congratulate her earlier, so, hereby: Congrats on your new job, Ingrid. Wish you lots of fun and hope you like your new co-workers.

Back in town!!

Hi, yesterday evening we came back from our holiday in Spaign. We have had lots of fun even though the weather wasn't that good everyday. So in stead of relaxing at the beach, we visited various places. One of them was, of course, Barcelona where we went to Parc Gruell and made many pictures on Gaudi's creations. We also went to Scrapate, a scrapbooking store in Barcelona, where i bought very beautifull paper from SEI, Paisley-line, which i intend to use for the pictures we made at the parc. We also went to the Chocolate Museum in Barcelona, but i would never recommend anyone to go there....it was such a dissapointment!! Too bad, but other things we did in the summer made it all worth while. It will take me some time to sort out all the pictures we took and to place it on my blog, so you just will have to wait for them.....sorry.
