So proud....

I'm so proud of my 8yr old son...He's having a weeks vacation from school and he really likes to do crafty stuff, so last night I asked him if he would like to make a scrapbookpage with his own pics....He liked to do so, so we started out with choosing a design paper from my stock and he chose this one, it's from Basic Grey, Aged&Confused Sublime Collection/ Live Play. I thought it would nicely match the pics that were taken when he got his first swimming diploma. This morning we took everything downstairs and we sat down together...I did have to help him out a little, he didn't know how to put the doublesided tape on the pics so.... And here you can see the result...doesn't it look great....Remember, he's only 8 and this IS his first project, hehe...

I think it looks great and I am real proud of my son.....

Magnolia cards

I'm totally into cardmaking these days...does it show? The first and the third one I made with leftovers, the second one was made with Funky vintage ~ Lizzie collection from Making Memories paper pad....

I made this card for my neighbour who brought us tons of ice-cream which she got from her brother....He got it for free from his boss, so...Her freezer was allready packed so she decided to give us the rest.....She gave us so much, we will be eating ice-cream till summertime I guess, hehe....Anyway, to thank her, I made her this card....

I made this card for a dear friend who is always in such pain, she doesn't even feel the difference between the pain she normally feels and a bad toothache, but she's always cheerfull and happy....She's such an inspiration to me....

When I was a little girl, I so loved these cute little pics of Holly Hobby from Sarah Kay. I recently found some images on the web and couldn't resist to download them and make these gorgeous cards. It was also a great excuse to use some of my leftovers....Aren't they cute?? I'll sure make some more real soon...

How great is this!!

Last thursday I ordered some scrapstuf from an online scrapbookstore, Scrapbookdepot. It already was delivered on friday evening!! How great is that...It's the only online store I know who delivers this fast!! I bought some ribbon, Derwent coloursoft pencils and two sheets of Fancy pants/ floral chic papers.....

And there was more....this morning I got some envelopes in the mail with some real yummie goodies in it. I can honestly say this was a "happy mail"day, hehe...

On the left you can see some pieces of paper, it's for a card swap at the ScrappenDoeJeZo forum.

I already made the card which I'm supposed to send to another forummember....So I can't show you the result yet.... On the right you can see what I won on the raffle held on that same forum...And the ribbon I bought at Marktplaats (kind of Ebay)...So, had a wonderful day today...can't wait for tomorrow, I hope to receive some prints I bought of some gorgeous stamps....thanks for stopping by!! xxxWendy.

Memory makers, a card and an eggbox...

A friends daughter gave birth to a little girl last friday and I made her this card and this little box which contained six eggs before. I am going to buy some cute little baby socks and put it in the holes where the eggs used to be...Doesn't it look cute?

Today I received my fist issue of Memory makers and I totally love it!! The lo's in it look amazing. I am so glad I decided to get a subscription on it....

I've got nothing else to tell you for now....except for the fact my sister and I are going to take a workshop in Nieuwerbrug at Scraps! We are going to make a clearalbum for the very first time and I just can't wait!! I will show you the pics as soon as I finished that project...see you next time, xxxWendy.

Some bunny and a new friend

I made this cute little card for a friend to try and cheer her up. Her MIL was very, very ill (she died now) and I hoped this card could bring a little smile on her face.....It's from "Some bunny to love". I find these bunnies to be soooo cute!!

And how about my new friend!! Isn't he (or she,hehe...) cute!! He comes to our neighbours garden to eat from the peanuts they hung up for the birds....Haven't seen any birds in a while though....

New lo...

I made this lo this week, these pics were taken almost 5 years ago. I love these pics and how it shows a bit of everyday live....

I don't know when I will be able to show you something new for I have got the flu....I thought I would be able to avoid it, but it obviously didn't work....

Big (piggy)...

I made this layout for a challenge at the ScrappenDoeJeZo forum. We all received filled envelopes and had to make a lo with the content....This is what I made with it. The picture shows my two boys and a piggy....It was taken at Plopsaland in Belgium about 5 years ago.
