Another card

Last sunday Jeanet let us make this card during the make en take at Paper and Pictures in Doorn. At home, I added some doodles and this is how my card looks like right now. It was great fun to have met Jeanet and to create this card, so thanks girl...xxx Wendy.

Card with Crate Paper

This card was made with Crate Paper (Candy Apple), transparancy, a handmade ribbonflower, flowers, minibrads and a white and black Poscapen. The original was created by Annika from ScrappenDoeJeZo.

Lampshade from Ikea

Just have to share this one with you.

Several months ago I scrapped this lampshade, I bought at Ikea...I printed pics of my parents on fabric, stamped the lampshade with acrylic stamps of Li'l Davis Design, used different ribbons, beads and buttons and handstitched everything on the lampshade. This is the result. It really looks great on our mantelpiece. I'd like to make another one with pics of my children, but since I have so many other projects I'd like to do, it may take a while....

Fun pictures...

On our way back home, we saw these pumpkins and we could'nt resist...we just had to take these pictures!! You can see we had a lot of fun. The blonde girl is my sister Judy who'm I just infected with the scrapbookingvirus...And on the right picture below you can see my mom being silly...ah well...It runs in the family, hehe...

Lots of fun today...

Today Paper and Pictures launched their new book about scrapcards. Jeanet was one of the creators so she was also there to sign the book. It was so much fun to finally meet Tammie, Marije and Jeanet in person!! I've "known" them from the Dolls-forum, but never met them before...and ofcourse I just had to have this picture taken!! Girls, I had a wonderfull afternoon and it was so nice to finally have met you...hope to see you soon again and Tammie, again have a wonderfull pregnancy!! Second runner up...

I entered a scrapping contest at Scrappen Doe Je Zo and I just found out, I was second runner up!! Yahoo!!! We all had to scrap the same content of an enveloppe send by ScrappenDoeJeZo and couldn't add any other items....It was a bit of a challenge but I managed to make a lo I was satisfied with....You can check it out at ScrappenDoeJeZo. Little card for Jo-Anne

It's been a while....

It has been a while since I've posted something here, but I've really been busy lately. Last saturday Scrappen Doe Je Zo in Ede celebrated their first aniversary of the store and all the forummembers made a little lo (10x15cm) to congratulate them. This was mine. I made this card for Hanneke from the Dolls and Decorations forum. They organized a Cardmaking swap. I love making and getting homecreated cards so ofcourse I signed up...Hanneke already told me she liked the card, so now I can show it on my blog...

A new home...

For a friend who got a new home, I made this card...she really loves the color blue so I bought this paper for her....This morning I delivered the card in her mailbox...hope she will like it....

Lo about my grandma....

This lo is about my grandma who's is demented (hope I used the right word). It pains me to see her change from a strong, willfull woman into a scared, confused one.....I've had this picture of her laying around for about a quarter of a year, couldn't bring myself to do something with it because I knew it wouldn't be so easy...Because Dolls and Decorations brought out a new contest with the assignment to scrap something about a woman who inspired you in a special way, I finally found myself ready to use this picture of her....I am very happy with the result and this lo will definitely get a special place in my home.....Grandma, love you and miss you!!

YES!! I won....

...a little TINGLA stamp from Magnolia.....Daan from Dolls and Decorations told me at their forum and I was so thrilled.....still am....I just love those stamps and to think I never won anything in my life before, I just couldn't believe my luck....So, now I'm waiting for Magnolia to send me the stamp and then....I will be able to make some more cards....So thank you Magnolia!!

Today I received this wonderfull card from Ingen....I just entered a lo about my demented grandmother for the Dolls and Decorations Wintercontest, and tears were rolling down my cheeks...so this card came at just the right time...Ingen, thanks girl, you just made my day look a little brighter...love, Wendy.
